Society is headquartered in Clinton, Anderson County, Tennessee.
The primary interest of the PGHS is the
preservation of the history and genealogies of Clinton and Anderson
County and the surrounding counties in East Tennessee.
The name Pellissippi
is the historic Native American name for the Clinch River, the major
waterway running through the area.

of early issues of the Pellissippian Journal on CD. We currently have the 1980, 1982 and 1983 years available (one year on each CD). Each CD includes all 4 issues for the specific year plus the index. The issues are in PDF format and require Adobe Acrobat Reader for viewing. Price of each CD is $20.00 (includes shipping).
